TS500 BBQ Smoker
Here is the TS500 Barbecue Smoker trailer with an optional BBQ42 Chicken Cooker and spare wheel on the front. (Sorry, these photos are missing a grate in the firebox. A TS500 comes standard with a grate in the firebox.)

now i get to see the full craftmanship, this is great, and what i need two questons if i may ask, is this unit 500gal,rust proof and do it require constant monotering, and can a standard van handle this for traveling from around 400miles or so.
Great craftmanship

Thomas, the standard TS500 is 6′ x 17′ and weighs 2,800 pounds. You should check the rating of your own vehicle to be sure, but we would recommended at least a half ton. A three quarter ton will work totally fine. This model has a 500 gallon tank made out of steel. It’s the same tank as what they use for propane tanks. Inside is not painted; rust should not be a problem on the inside with all the grease unless you let water stand in it. Outside it’s painted with high heat paint. You will need to maintain the paint on the outside of the firebox and adjacent areas because of the extreme heat stress on the metal; otherwise, rust will eventually be a problem. You can step up to an insulated firebox, which keep more heat inside and the heat won’t mess up your paint for a long time. (Insulation also saves a lot on fuel; ask us about this if you are interested.)
As for constant monitoring, no. Even the smaller units are a breeze to maintain and this TS500 is even easier because of it’s massive space. It is a beauty indeed!
Are you close to us here in Pikeville, TN? Are you thinking of having it shipped to you? There are other dealers out there, but there are some cool advantages of doing business with us (Yoder’s Smoky Mountain Barbecue). This year we hope to launch a brand new community exclusive to our customers and I’m not sure what all we will cook up yet, but it’s going to be hot!
Have fun!

Fantastic BBQ Smoker. My friend makes his own sauce and does a great job on smoking just about everything (don’t even need the sauce). I will pass this on to him. He is thinking about taking his BBQ talents on the road. Thanks for the info and the pics
