TS500 BBQ Smoker Trailer

The TS500 Tank Smoker Trailer is built out of a 500 gallon tank and will cook as many as 60 racks of ribs lying flat.

With six cooking grates, (2) 30" x 33", and (4) 34" x 34", the TS500 offers a huge 6,604 square inches of cooking area (that's almost 46 square feet!). The spacious warming box will hold six full size restaurant pans. Likewise, the firebox has been upsized for greater efficiency. An added feature is the new ground level smoke stack damper adjustment.

Standard models are built on heavy-duty single axle chassis. Shown at right with optional double axle.

Along with all of the other features standard to the TS series BBQ Smokers, the TS500 BBQ smoker is ready to handle big events for people with big appetites.

Shown with stainless steel work shelves, stainless steel warming box and live smoke, trim package, and mounted BBQ42 Chicken Cooker with stainless steel lid. Custom options include adding any Meadow Creek cooker to the TS500 or incorporating the TS500 with any custom BBQ trailer.

Usage Recommendations

For smoking, we recommend using non-petroleum based starters. Residue in the smoke from these starters can contaminate the cooking box, potentially effecting the flavor of the meat. The use of a torch or paper and kindling is most effective. Use approximately 40 lbs. of charcoal briquettes or 20 lbs. of lump charcoal in the fire box to get started. Once the meat is placed in the smoker, you can add wood in the fire box for smoking. From there, you can use either wood or charcoal. Add wood or charcoal as needed to maintain the correct temperature. Optional charcoal basket holds approximately 60 lbs. of charcoal briquettes and ensures efficient even temperatures.

Grilling: For grilling in the TS500 tank smoker, remove the bottom grate from the smoker and slide in the optional charcoal pan. Put in your desired amount of charcoal and put your meat on the top grate above the charcoal pan.
