Meadow Creek Dealer Day and Open House 2009

April 11th, 2009

Last week Marlin and I had the privilege of attending the 2009 Meadow Creek Dealer Day and Open House in New Holland, PA. The trip provided lots of value for Marlin and me and, for those of you interested in Meadow Creek cookers, we expect it will help us serve you better.

Besides shooting photos of the event, I took hundreds of cooker photos. I am looking for ways to bring our website visitors as close to our cookers as possible online, so I am excited to get lots of close-up photos on my website for you guys.

Some highlights of the trip include…

  • Doughnuts and coffee in the mornings.
  • Reconnecting with the Meadow Creek Welding team and dealers.
  • A private meeting with Melvin, the owner of Meadow Creek, discussing ways we can partner with them efficiently long-term.
  • Backyard smoking and curing meat seminars.
  • Taking over 1,000 photos of cookers, dealer day, the auction, and open house.
  • Smoking ribs in the rain.
  • Pulled pork and barbecued chicken made on Meadow Creek pig roasters and chicken cookers.
  • Homemade ice cream from the hit-and-miss ice cream machine.
  • An auction to sell some of Ivan Stoltzfus’ (Melvin’s dad who passed away) personal items and other things.
  • Some private time at the rental house relaxing and eating pizza.

Here are some photos from the trip I thought you would enjoy.

just so you know we have decided YODER equipment will be our Q’s of choice and will promote your product every where we go. Its just taking some time to get the funding together,we tell everyone we know to check out your gear and sites.Love the e-mails you send and dream of yoder everyday. We are planning on having a PR60T,BBQ42 and TS120

What did you think of the videos? Meadow Creek makes some amazing smokers, pig roasters, chicken cookers, and grills. All this equipment is made in the Amish Community of Lancaster County, PA. The talented craftsmen at Meadow Creek hand-make each unit. They seriously go the extra mile to make sure you’re smoked pink. What really puts the sauce on the brisket is all the revolutionary features and options that make barbecue fun and easy, and even a money-machine, if BBQ is your business.
Integrity: Meadow Creek cookers are made in a culture of Godly ethics—honesty, diligence, and fairness. Whether it’s a Shoo-fly pie or a barbecue smoker, you will be treated right.
Stainless Steel Grates: Every Meadow Creek barbecue cooker comes standard with non-rusting stainless steel grates. This eliminates the hassle of scrubbing rust and the danger of possible rust contamination on your meat.
