See a Meadow Creek Pig Roaster Inside and Out

I added a new photo album on my site with more than 30 photos of our Meadow Creek PR60 Pig Roaster. The cooker in the album has an optional charcoal pull-out and doors in the lid.

And please don’t be confused. This thing does a perfect job of cooking many kinds of meats. Check this chart for a list of meats we recommend for our pig cookers:

New BBQ Smoker: TS120P Tank Smoker From Meadow Creek

Front of TS120P BBQ Smoker

There’s a bit of excitement stirring as we announce Meadow Creek’s new TS120P BBQ Smoker. This new cooker is the push/pull-around version of the TS120 Tank Smoker on a trailer.

If you’re looking for a BBQ smoker with 11+ square feet of cooking area, but you’d rather not have the trailer, this handsome, offset barbecue cooker is the solution for you.

Customers who wish to store their barbecue smoker on the patio or keep the smoker mostly in one area, moving it in and out of storage between uses will appreciate the practicality of its 18″ air tires and locking, swivel casters on the end opposite the firebox.

Like our other tank smokers, the TS120P BBQ Smoker offers serious outdoor cooks an experience that many only dream of—careful and talented workmanship, food-grade stainless steel grates that are easy to clean and maintain, reverse flow draft with rounded tank ends for uniform temperatures, and a removable fire box grate and ash pan which allows ashes to fall down and the fire to keep burning efficiently.

Truly, the team of talented craftsmen at Meadow Creek Welding is working hard to bring you top quality and a class that is hard to beat.

Breakfast BBQ Video: The Vegetarian’s Nightmare

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

Last week, we fired up the BBQ42 Chicken Cooker to try out our new griddle. We had quite a breakfast BBQ—lots of bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs.

The optional griddle replaces the stainless steel grate where you would normally put your food. It’s a large metal “pan” that’s great for frying breakfast foods and cooking a variety of other foods.

I am so excited about this, that I decided to make a video and share it with you.

Please watch it here: BreakBQ: The Vegetarian’s Nightmare

Here are some photos of the BBQ also. Click on one to enlarge it.

New Backyard BBQ Smoker, Meadow Creek’s PR36

PR36 Backyard BBQ Smoker

PR36 Backyard BBQ Smoker

We are excited to announce a new backyard BBQ cooker from Meadow Creek Welding, the PR36 Backyard BBQ Smoker. Built to match the superior quality of Meadow Creek’s commercial-grade construction, this BBQ cooker is great for backyard cookouts for family, friends, and small parties.

What I like best about the PR36 Backyard BBQ Smoker is that it’s a 2-in-1 convertible and priced to fit the budget of many backyard cooks. You can cook a wide variety of meats (including whole pigs) and cook meat using the method you choose—either smoked with low temperatures or grilled with direct heat and high temperatures.

The PR36 BBQ Smoker is ready to cook for approximately up to 75 people. You can haul it off to the neighborhood park and cook at a family reunion, invite a few friends over for a nice evening of barbecue and fellowship outside, or simply enjoy countless cookouts as a family on the back deck.

I’m looking forward to quite a few barbecue cookouts of ribs, chicken, pork butts, burgers, and more this summer. It seems I can already smell the aroma “sizzling” out of that cooker!

I’m ready. How about you?

Check out the PR36 BBQ Smoker today or take a look at our other backyard BBQ cookers.

Which BBQ Cooker Type Do You Recommend For My Meats?

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

BBQ smokers. Pig roasters. Chicken cookers. Grills.

What if I want to smoke and grill? What if I want to grill some burgers and chicken parts, but mostly smoke whole pigs?

A pig roaster does so much more than pigs. A chicken cooker also does more than what it’s name implies. So it can be a bit confusing at first. That’s why I added a new chart for you in the BBQ Tools section of my website…

Recommended Meats for Meadow Creek Cookers Chart

If you are wondering which Meadow Creek BBQ cooker is designed to cook your meats, check this out. The chart shows a listing of common meats with primary and secondary recommendations for each meat.

Let me know if you find it helpful and if you have questions about meats that are not on the chart.
