Meadow Creek BBQ26S Chicken Cooker

Sunday was Father’s Day, and we spent part of the day at my parent’s place. Marlin grilled a batch of chicken thighs (skinless/boneless) on his Meadow Creek BBQ26S Chicken Cooker, and it was top notch.

I admit, the chicken doesn’t look too great in pictures cause I shot them on my phone, but it was astonishing in real-life! Juicy and full of flavor.

How to Grill Chicken for Crowds

Thursday, April 19th, 2012

Last week Meadow Creek had their annual dealer meeting and Open House. Marlin and I always make sure we’re there for the dealer meeting and at least part of the open house.

It was absolutely great being there again. I came home with some new inspiration, as well as confirmations of things I need to be doing to sell more Meadow Creek equipment. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t promote schemes that trick people into buying our smokers and grills. I’ll leave that for the schematic tricksters who are content with forcing people to make decisions.

My goal is to educate the people in my market and help them achieve their goals. One of those goals is to grill chicken for events, such as fund-raisers, auctions, open houses, weddings, etc. Not just grill chicken, but chicken that is perfect from head to toe. Fully cooked on the bone, but not dried out on the surface. Cooked uniformly from east to west, north to south. Not just perfect chicken, but huge amounts of it.

Does this sound like your dream? Meadow Creek chicken cookers make it easy as pie to grill perfect chicken for hundreds. It was fun to see it done again last week.

How to Grill Chicken the Right Way

Friday, October 14th, 2011

How many times have you tried to grill chicken on that trusty old grill, only to dry it out every single time? If you’re wondering how to grill chicken that turns out juicy, rest assured, you are not alone. It’s a common dilemma.

However,  the good news is that it’s not your fault. And the better news is that I can show you how to grill perfect chicken. And the best news is that it’s easy as pie. (If you do it right.)

Grilled Chicken

Grilled Chicken on Meadow Creek Chicken Cooker

By the way, when I refer to chicken in this post, I’m talking about chicken halves, quarters, thighs, or legs with the skin on.

Skip this: One way to correct this problem is to precook the chicken in water on the stove. Then before it’s done cooking, remove it from the water and finish it off on the grill. I’ve done this on my gas grill already and it works. But think of it, how degrading is it to cook the chicken in water. I mean hey, we’re talking barbecue.

There is a better way. Two, actually.
